In February 2010 I purchased "Bordeaux's Burgundy", aka "Serenity" from Erika for my 13 year old daughter, who had outgrown her dressage wonder pony. I wanted something safe, sound but yet competitive for her to move up onto. "Serenity" was the answer! A wonderful, well-bred mare with a forgiving attitude and lovely movement, Serenity is teaching Alex about contact, forward movement and how to build connection. Not to mention her sweet, gentle nature, she has become a favorite in our barn! Serenity's first "outing" with us was the Region 1 Youth Championship Show and it was huge. Serenity marched home with the high score for her whole division and led Alex's team to a 1st place Championship finish with a 72%. the judges loved her! She has been Jr. Champion at several schooling shows since, and immediately qualified for the BLM Championships at her first Licensed show. Looks like it's going to be a great partnership!
